Actually, you can add custom update sites with the Community Edition (free version) too. I\'ve done it for months and it\'s super easy. However, I did have to ask them the first time to find out how. But they blogged on how to do it awhile ago as well. Good news: they finally wrote about it in the Pulse blog; bad news is EPIC doesn\'t allow links so I can\'t tell you where that is other than \'jroller dot com slash page slash pulse question anchor equals local_customizations_with_pulse\'

Excellent idea and well implemented too, but there are no plugins for Ganymede!

I tried the beta late last year and it was a bit rough. But, gave it a go this morning and it worked fine for me on Vista and Ubuntu. Lots of progress and now highly useful.

On Vista, it returns a lot of errors, packages don't install, pulse doesn't uninstall. With some more work, it might be nice, but I'll stay away from it. No way to give money for this.

Proxy support is working well in this release. Help > Add / Remove software... is *uber* cool!

What's the point. It won't install. After contacting the installation servers it pops up a blank dialog box. If their installation is that flacky, how can I trust how they will manage and install hundreds of files and dependencies from other packages and plug-ins?

May be useful if I could get it installed. Forum was no help.

New release is awesome. Expanded catalog is welcome addition. Aptana IDE *is* up to date. I'll care about Ganymede in July, after it ships. Thank you!
