ProjectKoach 2008 Beta 3 release adds progress chart support for measuring and understanding the project's Velocity and Burn-Up rate.
ProjectKoach is a project management tool for agile software teams, deeply integrated in Eclipse. It is available free of charge for unlimited use and is suitable for both individuals and teams.
ProjectKoach is centered around a simple visual iteration plan editor where iterations and tasks are scheduled using drag-and-drop gestures, and which displays real-time project status.
It supports feature-based planning and allows teams to capture their use cases, user stories, defects and issues in Eclipse files, which become work items in the plan by simple drag-and-drop gestures. Once assigned to iterations, a dedicated view provides work item estimates and real-time progress status for each work item.
Developers on the team can use Mylyn or the built-in task list to provide their estimates and report status, and teams share project files using Eclipse’s team support.
ProjectKoach is able to import process models created with the Eclipse Process Framework, which become optional templates for iteration planning.
