A syntax color highlighting editor for Eclipse. ColorEditor uses JEdit?s syntax highlighting mode files. The plugin currently supports highlighting for around 74 different file types.

-1 point because some times it does not display coloring properly if syntax is to complicated. Otherwise works pretty well.

This syntax colorer is ok at best. It has limited options and when it is used the outline is not available.

The plugin itself appears to work just fine. I simply don't like its coloring. It doesn't understand shell (bash) much. Digits are colored separately, for example. And that is independant of syntax.

This plugin is fantastic. Version 1.2.6 has no problems with Eclipse 3.2.2.

Doesn't work according to the instructions on Eclipse 3.1.2 - it won't show the preferences page, I get a NullPointerException trying to instantiate class "cbg.editor.prefs.ColoringPreferencePage"
