Core CSAPI is a set of Java class files that provide pure Java access to a Telelogic Synergy Server.
Communications between classes and the server have been modeled after the Perl API provided by Telelogic, and use the same entry point on server side. Basically it loosely tries to reproduce socket communications generated by the Perl API client. The protocol used between the Perl client and the server is a sort-of no-validating SOAP jam and can be quite easily dumped with any network traffic sniffer and reverse-engineered.
For now, only basic read-only operations are supported; it takes time to study and reproduce correctly streams. But with some help from the community around and a few more months all operations available through the Perl API could be adapted. It is only a matter of time, so if you are interested please contribute -- you'll be welcome.
