OptSuite is a RCP based platform for controlling experimental or commercial
measurement setups not only in optical laboratories.
It is developed at the chair for micro-optics at IMTEK (University Freiburg)
and was initially designed as application for optical measurement in particular
the data acquisition and analysis with phase shifting interferometers.
With a growing base of measurement tools like controls for linear stages and
GPIB devices OptSuite is becoming a more general instrument.
The support of JavaScript and MatLab scripts gives less Eclipse-experienced
users easier access for customized setups.
Key features of OptSuite are:
Platform independent Java architecture.
Camera control (supports any FireWire-camera)
Full-featured graphical editor for masking the camera frames and phase data.
