FileSync plugin for Eclipse is a file synchronisation tool. The main goal is to keep files outside of Eclipse projects in-sync with Eclipse project files. The plugin works as builder in Eclipse and will synchronize all changes on Eclipse project files with mapped external folders. E.g. if a file is created, changed or deleted in Eclipse, then the mapped (external) file will be created, changed or deleted too.

FileSync is often used for J2EE developement to copy *.jsp or *.html files from Eclipse project to webserver/application root and greatly simplifies the J2EE web developement.

Flexible, does what it is supposed to do. If I could give it an 11 I would.

Excellent plugin. Exactly what I was looking for to sync my SVN project to a remote drive.

Very useful to get help us get a quick debug/edit/continue going. Also it knows it's place - does the job its needed for and nothing else. Stays out of the way and lets you get your work done. Very good.

Very useful plugin - but I miss one feature: it would be nice to have a possibility to update the "Default target folder" for many project in one place. Maybe usage of variables in paths should be allowed?

Gave it a 9 rating anyway, but actually I haven't been able to install this plugin. Unfortunately when I try to install it, it warns of a whole mess of conflicts with the MyEclipse plugin. Anyone know of a workaround or even a different plugin that does the same? Thanks in advance! Tom
