Mylyn is a task-focused interface for Eclipse that reduces information overload and makes multi-tasking easy. It does this by making tasks a first class part of Eclipse, and integrating rich and offline editing for repositories such as Bugzilla, Trac, and JIRA. Once your tasks are integrated, Mylyn monitors your work activity to identify information relevant to the task-at-hand, and uses this task context to focus the Eclipse UI on the interesting information, hide the uninteresting, and automatically find what's related. This puts the information you need to get work done at your fingertips and improves productivity by reducing searching, scrolling, and navigation. By making task context explicit Mylyn also facilitates multitasking, planning, reusing past efforts, and sharing expertise.

What a superb plugin! I also think more works needs to go into stability related issues.

Perhaps this plugin rocks if you're using a connector, but if you're only using local tasks it sucks. Here's why: - If you want to sort by scheduled start date, you're out of luck. - If you want to manually re-arrange the task order (by dragging them around) you're out of luck. - If you want to make one task dependent on another, you're out of luck. - If you want to attach external resources (like files) to a task, you're out of luck. - If you want to display more than the task name in the task list, you're out of luck. - If you want to expand/collapse all, you have to go through a menu. I gave up at this point.

Superb. I use it to connect to JIRA and it makes life so much easier.

Glad I gave this plugin a try. Makes working for the government much easier! i.e. work on this, now work on that, go back to this, just to those, come back to this, etc...

This plugin forwards my productivity to get bugfixes from other product versions, makes me developing multiple tasks w/o loosing context of each task. It slows down your IDE but speeds up your programming. A must have for bigger projects!
