Hippojump is an alert management application that allows you to track RSS, XML, HTML, web services with specific keywords and parameters, and deliver the results to devices such as desktop browsere, email, SMS, etc. It is eclipse-based RCP (Rich Client Platform) and is fully extensible via plugins.
Examples of plugins that can be written include:
- Add new data sources, such as database
- Add new criteria functionality, such as filter by search engine like lucene
instead of SQL
- Add new delivery modes, such as sending of message to messenger
- many more
