-vmargs -Xms512m -Xmx512m -XX:PermSize=128m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m
so I appended that to the executable from the command line:
"Apache Directory Studio.exe" -vmargs -Xms512m -Xmx512m -XX:PermSize=128m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m
and have not had one issue. I really like the features and simplicity, too.

The interface might take a little getting used to for those that are unfamiliar with Eclipse itself, but the learning curve is shallow. The featureset outshines the other free LDAP clients I have tried, and rivals or surpasses the featuresets of some commercially sold products as well. Try it... it is free... and at this time, I don't think you will find better.

The dropdown list with all previously written search filters, attribute names are filled in autocompletion. I recomend this plugin strongly. If it could be made as a "stand alone" application that would be great.
