Excellent tool for LDAP administration. Used at the Medical University of Graz for Novell eDirectory and 7000+ users.

I've used it quite a bit. It works well. It browses schema, data, etc. There is a good search engine to look into your directory. It also keeps a modification log so you can see what you have changed. Excellent. James Computer Security 5000+ users

Incredible software. Just works and does its job very well. Perfect leveraging of Eclipse platform facilities. It is also available as a standalone application. Check out Apache Directory Project website.

One of the best LDAP products I have used. At first I could not run large search queries because I received a java heap space error. However, after some long google searches, I found another java plugin that used this command line: -vmargs -Xms512m -Xmx512m -XX:PermSize=128m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m so I appended that to the executable from the command line: "Apache Directory Studio.exe" -vmargs -Xms512m -Xmx512m -XX:PermSize=128m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m and have not had one issue. I really like the features and simplicity, too.

In comparison to other freely available LDAP browsers and editors, Apache Directory Studio is, in my opinion, top-rate (thus the '10'). The interface might take a little getting used to for those that are unfamiliar with Eclipse itself, but the learning curve is shallow. The featureset outshines the other free LDAP clients I have tried, and rivals or surpasses the featuresets of some commercially sold products as well. Try it... it is free... and at this time, I don't think you will find better.

The Ultimate LDAP Client! It is distributed as both standalone application and Eclipse plugin. It also provides some advanced features for Apache Directory Server.

Groovy little LDAP plugin. It's very intuitive, so no need to read the documentation, but that's there on the website should you need it. Browse, edit, run LDIFs, it's a;; there and Just Works.

A very competent ldap browser with many useful features. The dropdown list with all previously written search filters, attribute names are filled in autocompletion. I recomend this plugin strongly. If it could be made as a "stand alone" application that would be great.
