difficult to install on Eclipse Ganymede (help documentation is very poor!)
I succefully use it for HSQLDB.
Very easy to use, intuitive.

Great stuff--I like it even better than the MyEclipse Database Explorer. The graphics in DBViewer may not look as streamlined but it is more flexible than the Database Explorer in terms of ease of use.

Tried installing this with Eclipse.
Got as far as the "Registration of data base definition" and couldn't get any further.
Support site is pretty much all in Japanese so I couldn't go any further - shame as it looks very promising hence the rating of 3 however they should really improve their documentation.

Excellent plugin for DB-Access. Good performance and excellent auto-complete functionality. I've tried a few others but DBViewer was the best amongst them all!

One thing that I notice about this plugin is the size (2.5M), plus running smoothly in my Eclipse with a quick response.
I am looking forward to have the paging function in the SQL select result view. Right now, it only shows the first 500 records from the result set, which isn't fit for the table with large amount of data.

Would love to see support for more schema object types such as indexes, triggers, stored procedures, etc.

I have used it to explore MySql db's. I rate this pluggin as it worked with minimum effort. I have had a couple of failures with other explorer pluggins. I am new to eclipse so maybe there are things that i am doing wrong. However, they should all have clear documentation that work.
Keep up the good work and I am looking forward to future enhancements.

Yes, it looks like this plugin has a promising future... it's got a few problems at the moment, however. Double clicking on a table name (in the tree) doesn't seem to work (get an error and no data is displayed) with DB2 (type 4). I think the problem is that the table names aren't quotes (this is just a guess). I successfully ran a few SQL queries. If a few of these basic problems are fixed, the plugin could be quite good.

Looks very promising
My first test revealed a problem with Oracle 10g: DBViewer can't show the database schema in the DB tree View. Instead it shows "The Error Occured. Reason: invalid column name".
This problem is probably solvable. I'd like to put my test results in a bug tracking system, but I didn't find any.
Is there a bug tracking system for DBViewer?
It works wit SQLServer 2000.
